Q: How much is grooming/boarding?

A: Boarding and grooming for Wings/Nails depend on bird size. Beak trims are determined by severity of the growth, starting at $10. Call for specifics.

Q: Do you have a *specific species*?

A: Check our Availability page for which baby birds we have. Or call to ask if we have rescues up for adoption.

Q: My bird looks ill, what do I do?

A: Please consult a veterinarian. Bloomingrove Veterinary Hospital and Upstate Animal Medical Center both have multiple avian doctors.

Q: Will you take donated cages/toys?

A: Yes! We greatly appreciate lightly used toys, perches, accessories, cages, carriers, etc! Please clean everything before dropping off.

Q: Will you take baby/hurt wild birds?

A: NO!!! We cannot accept any wild animal. Please bring them to Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital, which is open 24/7.

Q: Will you take in a lost pet bird?

A: Please check first on Facebook, lost pet sites, and other social medias. If you cannot find an owner, we will take the bird.

Q: Do you have baby macaws?

A: We no longer breed large bird species, only small-medium sized.

Q: Can you DNA my birds gender?

A: Yes! Call to let us know ahead of time, and then bring your bird in. We will pluck some feathers and send to a lab. Results will take a few weeks. $40

Q: What bird-training products aside from books do you carry?

A: Flight harnesses, speech-teaching devices, training stands, and more!
